Do I have to provide my name?
No. You can submit anonymously.
Do I need to be a member of the Feminist Covid Response Collective to submit?
No.
Is there an age limit?
No age limit. Feminists under the age of 18 are required to fill out and submit the ‘media consent form for minors’ when submitting your story.
Where will our stories be displayed?
All submitted stories will be publicly displayed in the interactive map found under the tab ‘A Shared Memory: Mapping Feminist Stories’ on the website.
Can I submit more than once?
We encourage every unique submission to be made only once. However if you have several unique submissions/stories you wish to share you may submit more than one.
If I want to submit photos as my story, how many can I upload?
A maximum of two images are permitted per unique submission.
What size/length can my submission be?
Will my submission be edited in any way?
No. The FemCOVID collective will display your submission as you intended and will not make any edits. If there are any issues with your submission during review, an email will be sent to you explaining the nature of the issue and why it cannot be displayed.

What file format can my story be in?
Am I able to withdraw a submission?
Yes. If you wish to withdraw a submission please email info@feministcovidresponse.com with the link to your displayed submission and a written request for this action. No reason for withdrawal required.
Please use “A Shared Memory: Story Submission Withdrawal Request” as the subject line of your email. The FemCOVID team will review your email and remove your submission promptly after.
Can I submit a story on behalf of someone else/a group?
Yes.
If you wish to submit on behalf of other persons and/or groups that have given you consent to your submission, email your submission to info@feministcovidresponse.com.
Please use “A Shared Memory: Submission Title, Feminist Experience on behalf of [insert persons/groups preferred means of reference]” as the subject line of your email.
Within the email provide us with the location of the persons/groups you are submitting on behalf of, their age bracket if they choose to share, the medium of submission (Audio, Visual, Written), and the submission Title.
Provide us a brief sentence of how you came across their story, and the reason why you wish to submit on their behalf.
Then attach a submission to the email or paste the content to the body of the email.
My video submission is too large for the upload, what should I do to submit?
Upload your video to a third-party website (ex. Youtube, Vimeo, Dailymail etc.) and send us the link in the submission form space provided.
My Audio submission is too large for the upload, how should I submit?
Upload your audio file to a third-party website (soundcloud, youtube, spotify, apple music etc.) and provide the link in the submission form space provided.
Are responses reviewed?
Yes. A member of the collective will revise all submissions and make sure that they are appropriate and aligned with the key issues outline in our principles. Upon revision, the response will be published.
What can I submit?
Submissions are classified into three categories:
Submissions can be in any language! Our submission form is available in French, Spanish, and English.

All of the information we’ve collected over the last eight months is available at https://feministcovidresponse.com/find-resources/ where you can navigate the different posts based on language, theme, and region.
Can I submit on behalf of my organization?
Absolutely.
